Suivi Contractions is a free mobile app built to help pregnant women time their contractions. The app is available on iOS and Android.

2. Data we collect

We only collect the data required for the app to work:

  • Email address — Account creation and authentication
  • First name — Interface personalization
  • Due date — Optional, personalization only
  • Contraction data — Time, duration, interval, intensity (1–5), text notes
  • Contact consent — Your choice to accept or decline email contact
  • Language and country — Interface localization
  • Platform and OS version — Anonymous usage statistics

3. Purposes of processing

Your data is used exclusively to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Store and sync your contractions across your devices
  • Generate summaries and PDF exports
  • Contact you by email if you consented (revocable at any time in settings)
  • Improve the app through anonymous usage statistics

4. Third-party services

The app uses the following services:

  • Firebase (Google) — Authentication, data storage — policy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy

5. Data retention

Your data is kept as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data (email, first name) is anonymized immediately. Contraction data is kept for anonymous statistical purposes.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

  • Right of access — view your personal data
  • Right to rectification — correct your information
  • Right to erasure — delete your account from the app
  • Right to portability — export your data via the built-in PDF
  • Right to object — object to certain processing

7. Security

Your data is stored on Firebase servers (Google Cloud) with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is protected by authentication and strict Firestore security rules.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. In case of substantial changes, you will be informed via the app. The last update date is shown at the top of this page.
